It is quite clear from the verse No 151 of Sura Al-Baqra (Qur’an), that Allah Almighty has sent the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) as our teacher and guardian. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) recites the Qur’an for us and we become “Quari”. He explains us Quranic verses and we become “Mufassir-e-Qur’an”. He teaches, the Hikmat (wisdom) and we become “Mujtahid (Jurist), Mutakalim (Theologian) and Sufi (Obligacellent). Beside, our beloved Holy Prophet (ﷺ) purifies & purges our heart and soul by bountiful influence of his holy company and brings us up under his valuable guidance, so that we may be rid of the filth of corporality and carnal desires. He imparts on us a lot of knowledge of monotheism & Gnosis, thereby developing devotion & love towards Allah Almighty and his Rasul (ﷺ) which we were not conscious of before. Therefore, there is absolutely no means for us to be misguided by being attracted to those who do not follow the footsteps of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
As regard to Islamic Law, this law is superior to other forms of law because its sense is divinely determined. There are the four basic ingredients of law in Islam. Thus law in Shariah is a legal value established directly or indirectly from divine communiqué which can be proved either through the text of the Quran or Sunnah or definite Ijma (consensus of Islamic Jurists) pertaining to the act, rights and obligations of mankind. These divine commandments from which the Shariah value or legal rules is driven are primarily addressed only to those persons who fulfil the requirements of legal capacity. This divine value, as far as the nature of its contents is concerned, can be religious as well as secular. Thus all those state laws which are not directly and strictly derived from the text of the Quran and Sunnah but are formulated by the Islamic States for carrying out Islamic plans and the improvement of human society also fall 5 within the category of law in Islam. Their legal relevance is supported and justified by the authority of
اولی الامرمنکم
(obey the men of authority among you), the specific provision of Shariah or in the light of expressed or implied authority by Shariah are compatible with the objectives of Islam.
Nowadays most of our youth are adversely involved and misguided by some groups of people who do not understand the real sense of Islamic Teaching and concept of Islamic Law (Elim-Shriah). It was therefore felt necessary to give a brief account on Concepts of Islamic Law (Usool-e- Fiqua), a proper orientation of Islamic way of Life based on Qur’an & Sunnah of Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
